写真の物、囲炉裏の火棚で魚を串刺しにしているわらの丸い物体も弁慶と言います。
用途は囲炉裏の火棚で魚を串刺しにして吊るすためのものです。
これを、なんで弁慶と云うのでしょうか？
少し想像力を働かせてみると分かります。
つまり、串がわらの棒に串刺しになった姿が、武蔵坊弁慶が義経を守って敵に刀で串刺しにされて死んだ姿に似ている事から弁慶と云うのです。"
